The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). "A seriously great stsy in the heart of Osaka. Rooms are on the smaller side but nothing unmanageable. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the shower room was amazing. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, and the downstairs complimentary tea, coffee and drinks is a nice touch. Would absolutely stay again."
