"As far as value, this hotel is the best one can get in Kanazawa. I have been to many hotels around Japan and for such a reasonable price, the service and the breakfast buffet are the best. Rooms are comfortable, business style room with enough amenities for tourists to enjoy. Very convenient to Kenrokuen, shopping, and restaurants. Highly recommended."

"Hotel has a nice modern Japanese aesthetic to it. Rooms are well designed with comfortable beds and thoughtful conveniences. Walls could be thicker as I could feel some vibrations from next door. Few minor irritations - there are a few steps to get into the hotel. Very cumbersome with a lot of luggage and a not very mobile guest. I also booked this mostly because I hotels.com noted that they had a wheelchair available to borrow, when in fact once arriving the wheelchairs were only within hotel use and not for exterior use which defeated the whole purpose. Public bath was great and clean - wish the waterfall was running constantly in the tub for ambient noise. I liked the free drinks by the bath. Lobby was interesting. Was chaotic checking in with a lot of people leaving luggage and checking out and attendants in pajamas with laptops. Overall a nice stay and would stay again when not travelling with a mobile challenged person."

"This property is like a step back in time to when things were gentler and simpler. Leaving our shoes in lockers in the reception area allowed us to walk barefooted or in socks throughout this beautiful hotel. The hotel-provided pajamas were to be worn throughout the property, to the restaurant and to the onsen. It provided such a comfortable, relaxed feeling. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the location is excellent, the service is of the highest caliber. The morning breakfast is amazing. The fresh tempura, make your own sushi bowl, as well as many, many other delicacies await. This hotel is a balm for the weary traveler. Quiet, comfy, relaxing. The onsen is not to be missed. Highly recommend!"

"Hotel is at a busy area and parking is very limited. so we used nearby paid parking. Clean room of decent size. Has a public bath and laundry facilities. We walked to kenroku-en, the castle and the omicho market. There are lawson, family mart and 7-11 with in 100 meters. Great value and super convinent."
