"I travel a lot and I often stay in what might be considered budget hotels but this was effectively a dormitory. There is no sign indicating where the entrance is to the hotel, which is inside a courtyard, or where reception is, which is through an unmarked door and up one flight of stairs. The staff do not speak English, just Chinese, except for one Ugandan man on the staff. This would be fine if it were noted in the hotel description. "The hotel is average in general, but it seriously needs some maintenance and updating to a more current look. Rooms are large and has all the usual. Strange though that there are no insect screens on the windows and there is hardly any place to work in the room. The service is good and friendly. The food in the restaurant is barely edible and I would definately give this a miss."
