All i can say is the Property is in a good location the rest no comments
We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Had dinner there every night. It was such a Good stay. Best in Kampala. Clean, safe, brilliant food, friendly staff. Location I don’t know How Good it is. But it all depends where you’re going. Good to avoid traffic in downtown Kampala.
If chef Onyango Godfrey is on - Get the Tikka Masala. One of the best I’ve ever had. And I love indian food.
Photos of this hotel are very misleading - the hotel isn't very well maintained. My room had cockroaches all over (including one on my toothbrush :( ). The hotel staff were nice but breakfast was pretty terrible, the gym was a few machines in a musty-smelling cement room half underground, when I ordered a drink from room service, they charged a different price from the menu I had, and told me they just hadn't updated the menus ... I wouldn't stay here again, especially for the price they charge.
When I first got there is was a disaster and I was placed in a wrong room, nothing worked... Only to realize that is was someone who had little experience in hospitality. The following day my room was changed and I got to meet the single most important person that I think gives this hotel a 5 star (if it were possible). Her name is Anne and she is usually at the front desk. She made my experience there worth it! She recognised the flaws and quickly fixed the problems, ensure that I got not only a upgrade in room but also a free coffee and dinner for my colleagues and I. We all make mistakes, what matters is how we get up from those mistakes... Anne was exemplary and set the bar high for many to follow, she is so approachable and down to earth... If nothing else go to this hotel because of Anne.... Big up Anne!
We had to switch rooms twice. Not only that but the rate on Hotels.com that is advertised for full board is not what they give you at the hotel. When we got there the 1st night they confirmed it was full board. The following morning we were told that Hotel.com got it wrong and they could only give us half board. Upon checking out 3 days later they tried to charge us for the food that we ate. We only ate twice. The first room the tv did not work at all and neither did the internet. They switched us to another room the following day. That room had a tv but had only two channels, CNN and football. When we asked about the "premium channels" advertised they said it was only in 4 of their rooms. After another day they brought us our own decoder for our room. The only person who seems to know anything is the day manager. We even tried to call her a few times and her phone was unavailable. The front desk doesn't answer the phone at night either.
The only plus was the food was good. But I highly doubt we will go back. We stayed here once before for 5 days and everything was great. A few years makes a big difference. Cannot recommend.

Good room, comfortable stay overall
Great things: Staff was friendly and overall helpful. Room was very large and really comfortable, a great plus in my experience! Dinner downstairs at hotel's restaurant was good and reasonably priced.
Things to possibly improve: shower handle was half broken, which made it more difficult to take a shower, bathroom overall was not up to the level of the rest of the room, so some better maintenance work there would have made my stay even better.
Interesting place! On arrival I was greeted well and the room and reception are very clean and comfy.
Internet was on and off.
Breakfast was good.
Staff were varied- some very polite and attentive, others not good at all.
30-40 minute walk to town. 1hr or more from airport
I was training for an event but the gym was pretty gross.
Laundry tried to charge me $80 for ONE small bag of clothes!
NOTE: WATER CAME OUT OF ALL BATHROOM TAPS DARK BROWN ON MY LAST MORNING. I CALLED FOR HELP AMD RECEPTION SAID IT WOULD SEND SOMEONE TO LOOK BUT NOBODY CAME. I CHECKED OUT ASAP!
I arrived very late around 1:30am, and one of the receptionist has helped me to get the best room. The location of the hotel is closer to one of the market place as well as the Kingdom palace which is one of the tourist attraction. Staff were very friendly, and they allowed me late check out. And the price was very reasonable!!!
