"Villa Carlton is a beautifully preserved 1920's building within three or four minutes walk of Zakopane town centre. The public areas of the hotel are very original and retain all the charm of that era. Our room however had been fitted out with cheap white composite wood carpentry which was a rather nasty contrast. The mattress and pillows were of very poor quality. On arrival the room was very clean, but housekeeping was minimal with towels changed once in six nights, and the bath, floors etc...
"Great appartment, very conmfortable for the two of us. It was raining heavily in the morning and the place was so good we didn't feel akward having to stay inside for a couple of hours. After that, the place prooved to be very near both major attractions in the city. "
