"otel's location is excellent, being just a few minutes' walk from JR Gifu Station, making it very convenient for exploring both Gifu and nearby cities. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. Although the rooms are compact, they are well designed and offer great value for money."

"Wonderful place, very convenient location, clean, safe, and friendly. The breakfast was also nice and served for a good 3.5 hours. I also appreciated the relatively early check-in and late check-out, for Japan this is not so typical. I would love to stay here again."

"Really nice hotel, there are 2 almost side by side and we stayed in the newer one to the right of the older Hotel. Rooms were nice and clean if a little small, even by Japanese standards but that can be forgiven really as everything else was spot on. The hotel is easily walkable from the train station and only around 20 min walk for the superb Toyota museum which is well worth a visit and often over looked. There are some really nice bars and restaurants all within a 5 min walk, we ate in one of the best Yakatori bars i have ever visited in Japan and i have spent many years travelling there. We didn`t have breakfast but did use the spring baths which were superb, gowns and towels provided free from reception and not too busy."

"The hotel was very clean and the staff was incredibly kind! The one concern I have is regarding their smoking vs non smoking rooms. A friend booked a non-smoking room, which it was, however, it seemed like half of the floor was smoking and the other half not. The floor reeked of second hand smoke and it could be smelled through the room, though less potent. It was pretty potent. I would encourage the hotel to make the entire floor non smoking or figure out a way to fix the smell of the second hand smoke."

"This is an incredible hotel with tons of amenities and extremely helpful staff. We have traveled to many countries and this hotel staff wins the gold medal for hospitality! They helped with every aspect of our travel and stay. We are a party of 6 with 3 river view rooms and they were all comfortable; and the onsen was spotless and enjoyable. You can also get free bikes to ride around the river with brand new paths and meander the city streets. I will certainly come back to Juhachiro again one day because of the sweet and kind staff."
