"This resort has large grounds and so many features you will enjoy looking at. Every nook and cranny has another interesting water feature, pool, river side, sculpture etc etc. staff are great and very helpful. Breakfast really good and substantial. The rooms are big and have separate sitting areas, big floor to ceiling windows with plenty of light. The prices are low and value is great."
"This place has alot of potential. It is out in the middle of nowhere. 100% it is for the people you like the nature no tech quite experience. It must have been an off time becuase we were the only guests. We pretty much never saw an employee only when checked out/ in and we had to run them down. They is no means to contact staff just walk around. Be sure to pack all the food and beverages you need. The resturant and cafe may never open. The town is small so you are limited whatyou can buy when...
"Beautiful location on the riverside. Well kept grounds. Very pretty. Mainly Thai resort but that’s good.
My only gripe is the time it takes from ordering dinner in the restaurant to it arriving at the table. I suggest you choose your food for a given time then sit by the river with a drink of your choice then move to table at the time you stated.
Everything else was spot on. "

"An excellent hotel. Great staff; beautiful garden and pools. Great breakfast as well as great chef prepared Peruvian dinner food that we enjoyed with the out of this world; pisco sour drink (Peru’s specialty) . .. an amazing culmination of eating and drinking that will stay in my memory for a while. "An excellent stay for a short getaway from BKK. We went during a long Mother’s Day weekend so the place was a bit packed at first. After Sunday/Monday, we pretty much had the entire resort to ourselves. This property is meticulously well manicured. Great dining options on premise. I highly recommend Casa Mare which is their most high end restaurant right by the water. If you are traveling without a car then you need to use grab/bolt which can be tricky as Cha Am is more remote and low key. It’s our first time in Cha Am as we usually stay in Hua Hin and BKK.
There is also a strip of small bars and local restaurants about 5-10 minutes away…and of course a 7-11!
There are 2 hotel pools; one for adults and one for kids. The water seems a bit mucky and wasn’t as clear so I never used it. Other than that, it’s a beautifully large resort and would definitely return. "

A really cozy hotel in Cha Am, in a quiet area where privacy is your best friend. The entrance sign on the roadside is pretty hard to spot. At the end of a pretty narrow road is where Veranda is situated, right next to the beach.
We upgraded our stay to 2-bedroom duplex saltwater pool villa with a really reasonable upgrade price. We love the layout of this duplex especially the in-ground jacuzzi that gives you a feeling of a private spa. However, the main light switches are weirdly located right next to the refrigerator. The villa is pretty worn-out with signs of retouching throughout the entire place. Stains on most fabric furnitures. Great selections of breakfast starts from 6:30-10:30 daily. The senior security staff are extremely helpful and polite! thumbs up!
Overall, a really great stay with peaceful and private atmosphere. Though some upgrades of room touchpoints are required. A clean and playable beach."
