The keepers have a lovely bond with their elephants. Would love to return here again one day. "First let me say the views were excellent! The staff was kind and friendly but…there’s only so much they can do with a hotel that is in terrible shape. After reading recent poor reviews I requested in advance that my room, bedding and towels be in good condition and they were although the bedspread was in need of replacing. The way the shower and toilet area was constructed was awful! First of all it was not separate from the sleeping area. Most importantly, when one showered the water from the shower seeped into the toilet area and stayed in the corners and created a very wet environment. There was no comfortable chair in the room, the seating on the balcony was very worn. I could go on and on but basically the hotel is a construction nightmare and it has not been repaired/maintained. We left one night early as the room was not an enjoyable place to be."

Smiles are everywhere, and if you’re a fan of Cheers, this truly feels like a place where everyone knows your name. The attentiveness is seamless—leave for breakfast, and your room is perfectly refreshed before you return. The food is exceptional. The restaurant is Michelin-level, and the bakery is outstanding—the croissants are perfect, and the pain au chocolat (pound chocolate) is incredible. Communication is also top-tier. Through WhatsApp, the team shares real-time updates on events, activities, weather, and local conditions—always proactive and reassuring. What stood out most was their care when we became sick. The team checked in constantly, offering tea, water, and anything we needed. They even arranged a doctor to come directly to our villa—professional, knowledgeable, and seamless. The property itself is stunning—lush jungle views, a serene pool, beautiful rooms, spa, gym, and unique funiculars with friendly operators always ready to help. But ultimately, it’s the people who make this place special. When we left, staff—including the manager—came out to wave goodbye. We weren’t ready to go. Sometimes, it’s the family you make along the way—and here, you truly find one."

You can really feel how much pride the staff takes in creating unforgettable experiences for their guests. What stood out the most was the warmth and hospitality. Everyone treated us with such genuine kindness that it made our stay feel very personal and memorable. It honestly felt like one of the best service experiences we have ever had in our lives. This place will always hold a special memory for us, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire team for making our stay so perfect.
