"The staff were all so helpful. Stacy was wonderful. The room design was special with sliding doors between the spacious bathroom vanity area, allowing for both early risers and late sleepers. The recent updated decor is so lovely. The complimentary wine and cheese at 4:30 and the breakfast were both wonderful. We really enjoyed the spacious courtyard. What a gem of a place."

"Only hotel on the island with a pool which my husband loved. The staff delivers your food to the pool or your room. The food was tasty. Only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the trash cans and it was worse because it was so hot. They need to be washed! Other than than we loved everything about it. Will stay here again! <3"

"Nice hotel right off Crescent Ave, which is the main road coming into Avalon from the ferry. Our room had a balcony which was nice to open up to the ocean breezes. It was nice to be within walking distance of everything. The staff were nice and helpful. The place underwent a renovation a few years ago so the place is still in pretty decent condition. Modern shower and vanity. Cutesy island-ish room. I don't know why people are raving about the breakfast, but it's just a little more than basic continental. The Catalina Coffee & Cookie company right outside the hotel is really good though. Great cold brew and breakfast sandwiches/burritos. Get there early, though, because there is always a line after 10AM."
