Siesta Motel

"The room was comfortable and clean. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room as well as typical soap, shampoo and conditioner. The coded doors made for an easy late check-in. We were there for WSU move-in weekend. We stayed here because it was the closest place available to Pullman that wasn't over $500 a night. I don't mind a place where you don't see employees on site, but I know that is a problem for some. Pros: cheap, well furnished, nice towels, convenient to Pullman if you can't find a room, and easy access with a door code instead of a key. Cons: not enough parking. There is not even one space per room or even close to that. The street parking is not convenient at all. We had to park a block behind the motel on a dark, residential street. While it ended up fine, it was a little disconcerting to park so far away with a dorm room full of stuff in our vehicle. The common area, staircase to the upper level, smelled very bad and was not a great first impression, especially after lugging our things in the dark a block from the motel. The a/c was not super effective. The room was very stuffy when we got in at 10:00 pm. It had a window unit mounted in the wall and blew cool-ish air which eventually made it a comfortable temperature. The temperature didn't get above 80 degrees during the day. I don't think the a/c would keep up if it had been a hot weekend. All said, I would honestly stay again for the room rate. You get what you pay for. It was fair value for money."
