"An older hotel that is dire need of an update, or at least sone serious maintenance, the gotel itself is ok for one night but beyond that, forget it. The location is far from great, in the back end of town and with little within walking distance. The staff deserve their own paragraph. I have never experieced a more dour, unhappy bunch of people. Even the breakfast staff were rude and grumpy. The one standout was the lady on reception, who was helpful and had a smile for the guests. My message to the rest: if you're so unhappy, do something about it, change something in your lives! But stop spreading your cheerlessness to customers, who have no idea why you walk around like a bunch of sad sacks. Numerous other guests raised this with me and swore, like me, never to return. All in all, I was glad to get out of there and let the sunshone bring some good cheer back into my life."

"We booked online, where it was written that there would be no added charges upon check-in, yet they tacked on over $60 in extras when we arrived. Our room was decent - 2 queens and a pull out couch - but it had clearly not be cleaned well. We found hair all over the bathroom and candy wrappers shoved into one of the beds. The breakfast area was an absolute disaster. The employees were just walking around not refilling or cleaning anything while the plates and utensils ran out. People were crowding to cut in the omelet line just to get plates for the other areas. No one was there to clean off tables as guests left, so there were many people literally sitting on the floor or standing just to eat their food. I will say the chef who was making omelets was amazing. He was super patient through all of the chaos and kept up an impressive rate of speed while still interacting with everyone. Overall, this hotel was a good choice based on location and amenities, but was not worth near what they charge."

"Positives: Air Conditioner Worked, Downtown Negatives: The room was not very clean. I killed a wolf spider in the bath tub before I gave my son a bath. The refrigerator did not work. I wanted non smoking for my baby and I, and the bathroom smelled like smoke. There was a big gap in-between the door and the frame making it easy for someone to break in if they wanted too. The electricity is wired horribly. There is extension cords running behind furniture, and the outlets to plug devices into are literally all the way up the wall, almost to the ceiling. Major safety hazard. I didn't try the breakfast. After judging the cleanliness of the room, I didn't want to try the food. Would I stay here again? No, I'd pay a little more next time and put my son and I in something more clean and safe."
