"What we love: right on the beach. Huge rooms.
What we did not appreciate: facility is a 2 star according to western standards (however it’s the best in the area.), cleanilies is ok (there’s a stain on the sheet). We booked a car with front desk - they showed us the hotel car and told us it will be this car, but the second day it was a much worse (very old and uncomfy) car that showed up, they said the hotel car was not available, what a bait and switch! "

Note that the noise from the bar next door is really loud as mentioned by other reviews, but it stopped by 11 and is generally very peaceful after that."

"From the moment you arrive through to your final departure, every staff member makes you feel welcomed and valued in a courteous and extremely respectful manner and always with a beautiful smile. Ramayana Candidasa is a quiet and restful haven on beautifully kept tropical surrounds. The restaurant has everything you need with enough choice for your food requirements, or you can get pickup organised from several of the restaurants in town. Candi Dasa in an area of Bali that is still removed from much of the western commercialisation overtaking the south and west so if you are looking for shopping malls and brand name knock offs, and western style coffee shops, pizza and hamburgers then this is not your destination and the reason we still love Candi Dasa. "Very nice, clean resort in a quiet area, still easy walk to a choice of restaurants and shops. Unique pool area with deck chairs on sand around the pool with ocean views. Good buffet breakfast in dining area. Only small faults is hot water pressure in showers and beach in front of resort not ideal for swimming due to shallow water and currents. Otherwise perfect stay!!"

"We only stayed one night but, the staff were very kind and hospitable. Our room was lovely and very spacious. It is a beautiful resort, the spa treatments and yoga made us feel very relaxed, the breakfast was delicious. it is in a remote location so the road to the hotel is quite an adventure!"
