"Note that there’s 2 buildings. The reception, restaurant, pool with view annd indoor “onsen” is in the new annexe.
We stayed in the main building and had to walk a bit to those facilities.
Found some of the staff at reception and the restaurant a little too rigid and inflexible. When I was asking for a late checkout, I asked for “as late as possible”. And he kept asking “what time”. To which I said “2? 3?”
Thereafter he said “maximum is 12”. What’s the point of asking, then?
Additionally, we ordered drinks in the restaurant and we wanted to have a hallabong that we bought earlier in the day. We were not allowed to eat it as it was “from outside”. I understand the policy but I feel it was unnecessarily harsh the way we were told. In addition, it’s not like they sell hallabongs for consumption there.
Everything else about the hotel was good. The views, the onsen, the room etc. Jeju is such a dreamy place and this hotel is memorable."
