"This is an older hotel. The room has been upgraded and while the bathroom could do with some upgrading our stay was very comfortable. Also provided us with coupons for Papa George restaurant and the food was delicious"

"The Overlander is about an hour outside of Jasper, which is perfect in my opinion. You can drive through a couple of wilderness corridors and stay away from the crowds in Jasper. Guests also have access to 5-6 great trails from the resort directly. Hinton is 15 minutes away for Gas and Fast Food (McD’s etc). The Stone Peak restaurant is excellent with great service. You can also book your tours on Maligne Lake or the Jasper SkyTram directly from the front desk with a 25% discount. Very cool place!"

"One of the nicest properties I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve traveled a lot. Would absolutely stay here again if I’m able to return to this beautiful area. Pool area nice, there were two grilling areas with tools included, and decorated with Christmas lights at night. Grassy area in between some of the cabins. The entire place was welcoming and relaxing. The only complaint was the highway traffic noise. But even was able to tune it out and focus in the beautiful views. Do it. Stay here!"
