Overall our experience at Astoria hotel was very pleasant! The staff were helpful and kind, helping us with an early check in, being accommodating to us. We were happy with the room, clean and has all the amenities we need. However a little too warm as we could not turn down the heaters. As well, parking was easy right in front of the hotel (keep in mind this is winter season and street parking is free until May).

I learned this family-owned hotel turned 100 years old this year. Cute, well maintained, comfortable, in a great location and offers courteous service to make you feel at home. It was a wonderful stay.

My room was clean, quiet and well attended to. A note mentioning that a microwave was down the hall may be a good idea. Is liked having the nice cup and saucers instead of paper or Styrofoam. Some form of TV channel directory would have been nice.

We were welcomed warmly by the staff and were provided with help carrying our luggage up to our room. The hotel is quite old and you can see this inside and in the room. Our room was very small but in good condition and pretty well cleaned. The hotel is really expensive for what you get as a hotel. But the location in the middle of the national park and in the city itself it is fair.
