"Everything was in beautiful shape. Breakfast, which is usually mediocre at most hotels, was very good. The night clerk took too long to check me in, but made up for it with good service and a good attitude afterwards. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had."

"The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The bed slept great and we loved the linens. Loved the outdoor patio with seating. We were able to leave the door open and could hear the thunderstorms overnight. It can be a little pound in the evening with people coming home late after number but it’s short lived they don’t linger. The elevator is a tad slow but there are stairs if you are impatient. Some staff called out on Saturday so the bar was down but the “pool guy” hopped in and made everyone happy! Kudos. Beautiful and historic, would definitely stay there again. Comfort is my mai concern and for that I give them a 10"
