The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made my stay so pleasant. Halal food, no alcohol, no smoking and only married couples allowed to share rooms makes this the absolute top destination for solo Muslim women travellers. "

"My family has immensely enjoyed numerous stays at the Orient, particularly celebrating the holiday of Succot here this year and for the past four years. However, most notable at the Orient is the first-rate culinary experience. Executive Chef Ahmad Salameh ensures that superb food and an ample array of delicacies is consistently provided at each meal, especially on Shabbat and holidays. The restaurant’s managerial staff led by Whaleed, Alian, Gazaleh, and Hirbawi warmly welcomes guests and is above and beyond expectations. Additionally, the reception and concierge staff also make a stay at the Orient exceptional. I highly recommend staying at the Orient! "

"I was very happy with these accommodations. They were clean, and the staff was so helpful and pleasant! If I needed anything, I had it literally within minutes. It is not a traditional hotel (no front desk reception, but instead there is a person to contact via What’s App who is responsive and answers immediately). There are beautiful rooms to stay in, right across from Mamilla. Excellent location, and the price is significantly less expensive than the other hotels in the area. I highly recommend."

"This was my second time staying - last year’s week before Sukkot also. Kind and generous hospitality and friendliness at every turn. Great location. Wonderful rooftop. Delicious breakfast every day. Water and coffee 24/7 In the Old City - short walk to Kotel, Mamilla and Ben Yehuda. Taxis near by. Train from airport to CBD and then light rail to City Hall stop and walk to Jaffa gate. Well done dear friends!"

"The hotel is directly across the street from the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem. Super convenient for the holidays. They offer meals for all of the holiday days.Shabbat elevators. Kosher. Services in the hotel itself if you don’t want to go across the street. They provided the Yahrzeit candle that I let for my parents."
