"We are just back from visit to Ischia and our stay at the Aragona Palace Hotel was the perfect base for our first, but not last, visit to this beautiful island. "I have traveled all over the world and this was by far the worst hotel I have ever walked into. The outside of the hotel looks nice, but the photos on the site are very deceptive to what the rooms are actually like. The place needs torn down and severely renovated. Bugs in the bedding and unclean/wet floor. It was so bad that I walked into the room set my stuff down and booked another hotel right away because there was yelling in the hallway and didn’t feel safe. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE......

"Excellent stay. This hotel consists of multiple buildings, in the area, so if you want to stay right next to the pool/breakfast area, you might want to call and ask which rooms offer that. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, the pools were lovely, and the beach shuttle was helpful. You can walk to the beach, but it's steep since Sorriso is at the top of a cliff (giving it excellent views). There are lots of shops nearby if you want to pick up some groceries, sunscreen, or souvenirs. Staff spoke good English and were helpful arranging taxis, providing recommendations, etc. Would definitely go back! "
