"This is an excellent boutique hotel. The rooms were clean, the hotel is very well situated on the beach in a quiet area of Ipanema. The included breakfast was excellent but what made this Joel stand out were the workers. Ana Paola our breakfast waitress could not do enough for us. She was so sweet. Rodrigo the bartender ion the rooftop bar made the best caipirinhas was so helpful explaining the city to us he made us feel like family. Toth our diner waiter was awesome. He catered to every need....

"Excellent customer service! Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast options. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Everything worked fine. Area and location is perfect (very centric, safe, cute). No complaints. Perhaps the only thing would be that they did not offer Shampoo and Conditioner as separate items, but in a single mixed fancy bottle. I prefer these two to be separated and not combined. Overall: A Thanks again to the awesome staff!"

We stayed in the standard room (comfortable bed and sheets, the shower pressure was great and the cleaning stuff did a great job every day during our stay). "Wonderful staff. The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort "

"Dona Marguerita uma senhora de 84 anos muito simpática que faz de tudo para ajudar os seus clientes. Não tem como se sentir em casa. Toda manhã vc acorda e a mesa café da manhã já está repleta, no período da tarde nos chamávamos para tomar um cafezinho… tudo de bom. Já se hospedamos 2 vezes lá e com certeza se voltarmos para o Rio já sabemos onde vamos se hospedar de novo. Agora localidade muito bem centralizada, 3 quadras do mar,( praia de Ipanema ) algumas quadras da lagoa, proximo da estação...
