"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. "

"There was a few cobwebs in the room and the carpet probably should be cleaned, but overall for what we wanted the room for it’s a nice place to stay. I would stay there again. Located by the underground, good location."

"We had a ground floor unit and it was a little bit noisy due to the fact that it’s on parramatta road near the hospital and you can actually hear the pedestrian crossing noise from the traffic lights. Double glazing would have made a huge difference. Apart from that it was very nice"

"It was great for the price, the room was relatively clean, and the parking lot was a big plus in Sydney. The guest laundry was functional, clean, and much cheaper than local laundromats. We had a water leak in the room that we didn't discover until the very last day (it was small and in a corner), it had caused a bit of a musty smell in the room but I don't believe it would have been there had the leak been identified. There is no elevator in this hotel so ask for ground floor if that matters to you."
