"We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable. Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers. There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins. The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition. All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive. We would love to return! "

"Rooms spacious. Furniture quaint and Miss Marpl-ish. Breakfast menu ok. Porridge not up to much. For two nights the radiator in room not working. Duvets thin and apparently no spare ones in whole hotel. Single disabled parking space taken up by an able-bodied person. Cocktail bar advertised but does not exist."
