"The drive resembles an entrance to building site, large pot hoke. Wall paper peeling off in bathroom, bed mattress bigger then bed base/6 inches over hang but was comfortable. Heavy duty curtains r/h hanging on by 2 clips, tv stand broken & lots of dust + no back up toilet roll. Didn't go down for second breakfast as it's not even continental. Minimum of thing's offered & dining room so dusty. Over all I could mention more thing's & it's a shame as the building is beautiful. With maintenance & more attention to detail it could be a gorgeous place that I'd rather pay more to stay in."

"Chevin House is very handy for Leeds Bradford Airport and is set in lovely woods. It is generally quiet, particularly in the woodland lodges. The rooms are comfortable and have all the necessary amenities. My only criticism is that the food has generally become worse since they were taken over. Everything was a bit salty and the choices of food and wine are limited. It was nicer when there was a big bar to sit in rather than just the restaurant which looks over the lovely pond, but isn't a place to just hang out and have a pint. They have clearly optimised the site for events like weddings. But overall, a nice place to stay and certainly my choice of the ones near the airport."

"Excellent breakfasts, the best scrambled eggs ever! The room was brilliant but ,would benefit from a small fridge. Great parking available. Only tiny negative was that there was no coat hangers in the room."

"The hotel was easy to find and quite central for Keighley and venturing further afield. The car park is tucked behind the back, not so great. Although the staff were friendly and helpful at breakfast which was really cooked nice and tasted great, I found the lack of a reception quite unusual. Our room was comfy and clean but the shower was quite poor, an over bath one which was not very powerful. It says it is quirky, very true but also quite dated."
