"I came down to hotel restaurant for breakfast, staff checked room Number breakfast not included and asked me to pay and I paid cash to staff for breakfast. After I left Panama heading to other countries and I found restaurant charge to my room again $66. Restaurant charge twice for one breakfast. I have no idea how restaurant can charge to customer without customer signing bill!!!"

"Internet was good. Suite was spacious. Shower and clothing closet on a seperate floor from bedroom. Ceiling fan was quiet and finctioning. A/C also quiet and functioning. Deck fan operates on a chain that was to short. Hammock on the deck takes alot of space where some decent seating and a small table might be. Great view of the park and street activity. Location is not know to Uber. Early morning coffee is available. Paid for morning breakfast with room online ... used 1 of 2 breakfasts, no credit offered. Breakfast quality is reasonable and tasted good. Staff are probably best asset at this property. They try very hard to make guests welcome amd comfortable. I did not feel like was being worked for an expected tip at all."

"Quite disappointing. The most obvious reason for the poor review is the immediate area the property is in. I read negative reviews about this but didn’t quite get the full scope of what the neighbouring properties were like until we actually stayed there. When a property is in such a rough area, at least if the service was exceptional, it would offset the experience somewhat. This was not the case. Our negative experience and poor customer service was present throughout our stay. When we checked in at 2pm (1 hour early due to our flight arrival time), we were told we had to wait 1/2 hr in the lobby or be charged a significant amount to access the room even though it was vacant and ready. Never in the many hotels we’ve stayed at have we ever been given that option. There was no hand soap in the bathroom - a very basic, standard item. Despite registering for 3 people to stay in the room, there were only 2 pool towels, and no actual blankets or bed pillows for the pull out. The a/c in the living room cut out at some point in the night and restarted late the next afternoon. We tried texting the numbers posted in the room but did not get a response. When I brought it to the attention of the concierge the next day, he told me if we if we “had an emergency, we could have come downstairs to tell him.” Again, the main negative is the area. It’s hard to overlook the deplorable conditions of the the surrounding properties and massive poverty when the rest of the experience is subpar. "

"I contacted the hotel a few days before arrival to ask about early check-in or storing my luggage. I explained that I had three suitcases and would arrive around noon. The manager responded and was accommodating, and I followed up again on the day of arrival for details. However, when I arrived, I discovered the elevator does not work and that I had to carry my suitcases up three flights of stairs. There was no front desk, just a restaurant, and no one available to assist. I messaged the manager to point out that I had not been informed the advertised elevator was not functional, but received no apology or acknowledgment. The cleaner tried to help, but my suitcases were too heavy."
