"We stayed at this property with our 10 year old special needs child for 5 nights in September. We needed a space that was “like home” and Griffintown Hotel delivered. It’s convenient to have a full kitchen and separate living/sleeping areas. It was also nice to have underground parking available for our rental car. The area itself is newer, so not the typical “culture” you’d expect from Montreal but with new comes modern convenience especially when traveling with a child. We liked that the area was walkable and the Lachine Canal was right behind the hotel for walks. If you’re feeling adventurous you can walk quite a distance along the canal. We enjoyed walking to St. Henri, up to Atwater Market. We’d definitely stay here again if we visited Montreal. The front desk staff was also helpful and friendly. We had an Amazon package with items for our son sent ahead that they kept for us until our check in. "
