"The place was a bit rustic, but we enjoyed our stay. The attached restaurant was good and served a simple but nice breakfast. The hot water in the bathroom gave off a sulfur odor due to - I think - geothermal heating. Overall, though, I would not hesitate to stay here again."

"We have stayed here before and it is a convenient location when driving to or from the north or west. Easy to access and the host gives good instructions. There are 2 induction rings and a microwave. Filter coffee machine but no coffee provided as is normal in Iceland. No oven. Grocery shop nearby. Swimming pool nearby. There are no boat trips to view seals anymore but the Seal Centre can give you a map of places to drive to. Cabin is comfortable, quiet, warm and has good blackout curtains. All...
