Nice place in the countryside

The guest house is by the lake and the view is really nice! The kitchen and bathroom is shared and well equipped, there are 2 washroom in the floor, one large and one small, the room is a little bit small, it is even smaller than the larger bath room but warm and cozy, it is okay for a good night's sleep and rest for another long drive next day.

Enjoyable stay out of town

Out of town, but the restaraunt is great for a meal & the breakfast quite satisfying. You can walk around the cemetery & there is a little cute church there as well.

A nice quest house that was bit off the beaten track. It was nice and clean and quiet. I had thought breakfast was included but it was not. We had food with us so it wasn't a big deal. The shared kitchen was very nice.

Lovely place

It was about 20km from Blonduos by the lake but the road was fine. Really nice place with kitchen facilities. Spacious room.

This place was a perfect place to stay "off the beaten path" along our road trip. Beautiful views of the water! The breakfast was good and convenient, as it is about a 15-20 min drive to any restaurants/markets. Nearest town (Blonduos) has a great restaurant in town (Teni's) that serves Ethiopian food!

peaceful lake

Beautiful location on a quiet lake with horses nearby (and sheep farther away). Room and bathroom were spartan and clean. Large kitchen and supplies to prepare your own meals (which you may want to do since this is fairly isolated).

It’s by a small lake, very quiet, with beautiful lake views. Our group of 8 people shared kitchen and dinning area among ourselves. Each room has own bathroom. Breakfast is provided with no charge. Check in and out are very easy. Thanks for a very nice stay.

The guesthouse was lovely, well laid out with the shared kitchen, dinning area and entertainment area. Heaps of space, rooms are clean and very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and shared areas! There is a huge area on the accommodation location to explore to see sheep and Icelandic horses next to a lake! Me and my husband had a good afternoon doing that once we settled into our rooms. Would recommend to others 👍

This property is worth the money for what you get. Room was cozy and clean and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. The location was perfect for where we needed to get and the view was stunning.

What a lovely guesthouse! Right on the lake, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and decent bathrooms, a kitchen for cooking or warming food, comfy sofas in the lounge area and a great breakfast. The owner was very friendly on check in and at breakfast. 5 out of 5!

It is slightly remote but there is staff living next door so you can just go knock on their door. Serene surroundings. No breakfast. Expedia site said breakfast available for fee, which is not correct. There is a big kitchen if you want to bring food and cook.

It was a very neat room with a large viewing window, a large shared bathroom but a small kitchen. Nice and neat house. Beautiful and peaceful environment!
