"Rooms a bit dated but fine and comfortable. Smart TV recently installed which was good addition. Staff very helpful and approachable. Food good. Bar busy as a popular wedding venue. Third stay here and will return again. Good value and great location. "

"Room was clean and staff friendly. TV only had 2 channels that worked and when you flush the toilet the bedroom walls shook as if something was going to errupt from within. Breakfast was a disapointment and not worth. It was meant to serve until 10:30 but at 9am it was like locusts had attacked. Whilst hot food did eventually get restocked the pastries etc didnt. "

"Hotel was in a great location close to main routes to Darlington and Middlesbrough. It was also close to Teeside Park which has an array of shops, a cinema and lots of eating options. The hotel was modern and clean with a good gym, check in was seamless and the staff were polite and helpful. I would definitely stay there again! "

"Stay in hotels all over the UK amd this stay at the Holiday inn express was faultless. Spent two nights there amd ticked all the boxes needed for our time there, including helo with parking which was a short walk from hotel and very cheap (think was £12 for two nights). Parking or nearby, decent bar, food nice, and spotless rooms that's all I ask for lol"

"Great hotel, nice clean room, a bit on the small side but more than adequate for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was quite nice with a decent selection of food. Staff were pleasant although I did have to ask twice for a receipt for a coffee I bought from the bar. The server inadvertently put the receipt in the till and went on to serve someone else."
