Was greeted by Abdul at reception a lovely man I've met many times on my frequent stays at the giftun. He immediately upgraded my room even though I was only staying for 2 nights. I had stayed at the sinbad club for the previous 6 nights after being recommended to go there but didn't like it so I checked out early. I will definitely stay committed to the giftun in future for their great welcoming staff great food excellent facilities and great location.

We had a lovely time at giftun azur resort. There was a lot to do and the staff were all really friendly and eager to be of service. The food was really good as well. They also look after the cats really well which we loved! It was amazing value for money and I would definitely recommend this place!

The beach and the pool are fantastic. The variety of food was amazing. The waiters by the show and the beach restaurant were ok not fantastic and the rooms are outdated and need facelift. The animation team and the show were excellent. Overall experience was good.

This property is on the beach with somewhat old sunbeds but the beach is kept clean. Those who complain of hotels with same old same old menu, they need to stay at this resort. Those you like Eat as much as you like, Giftun is a heaven sent resort. Truly amazing place to spend a vacation.

A gem near the airport, on the beach.

Great stay . Everything was fantastic. The room with fridge, air con and comfortable bed. The pool- clean and refreshing with beach on doorstep. Entertainment was good as was the food. Amr and staff very friendly and helpful. Thankyou. Will return.

I read many reviews and was at first hesitant, but I went there and was very pleasantly surprised. The resort is older, but it has a charm to it. The food is good and there are a lot of choices. My junior suite was enormous. When you combine the cost and what you get, this place is a bargain. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

The property is a bit ran down, rooms are clean however the bathroom water smelled extremely bad in my room. The beach and pool are very nice. The food/drink servers aren’t very pleasant despite giving a tip, not attentive. All other hotel staff was excellent. Food was good. Very reasonable price for hotel.

I like the view from my balcony The food was a bit salty and oily. Even rice has oil . I didn't watch the entertainment because a lot of them smokes. Mostly ive noticed this resort Mostly seniors. Amr is good also Abdul keeps my room clean every day. The beach is beautiful lots of boats overlooking . They can do better if they want to .

It's a shame that no women are employed in service. I think it's good that hot water is generated via solar, but unfortunately there was no hot water available in the evening, especially for events. At events such as Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, they showed their very best side. All service staff wore shirts, food was great. In normal operation, unfortunately, spices were dispensed with and food was lukewarm. Drinks were only available in all you can eat sugary ones drinks. The providers for water sports such as diving or massages were the most expensive providers in the whole of Hurghada. For my needs I would not book the hotel again. I would take a hotel with only breakfast, during the day on the day trips there is always lunch and in the evening you can eat well and cheaply in restaurants.
