"Booked last minute and wasn’t expecting much for the price on a Saturday night but previous reviews seemed ok.
The first room they gave us was average. We thought for one night we’d be ok. But after coming back from dinner we noticed bugs/insects over the walls and worse still over the bed and pillows. I called the emergency number and without hesitation they moved us to another room which had been refurbished. It was comfortable but didn’t have the fireplace which we’d specifically chosen so it was quite cold, especially in the bathroom.
This hotel is advertised as Boutique-style, high-quality accommodation - there’s nothing boutique or high quality about it! Even for what we paid a night it wasn’t worth it.
My recommendation would be to pay a bit more and stay somewhere else."
