"property just down rd from the hard. Hard to find without prior knowledge. Entry was difficult becuase the entry system at first took a lot of doing. It is on a safe system that needs imput from the owners and a no to get the small safe to drop and reveal the key to apt. Not able to get TV or internet until landlady came on sun morning. Phone conversation was not good at all. Frequently breaking down when asking questions. No instructions at all in apt to get started. No hot water...

"An amazing little cottage in beautiful surroundings. We loved being able to wander the stunning grounds, and the provided milk, cereal and eggs was a lovely touch. The cottage is perfect, clean and comfortable, and dog friendly too!"

There was urine left in the upstairs toilet, the downstairs bathroom was dusty with hair around the toilet, and the bath mat had been folded up while still wet. "The property is situated in a great part of Southsea, you can get to the beach relatively quickly and there are plenty of attractions around. The property itself is in need of a spruce up and a thorough deep clean, it feels a bit tired throughout. Our children were wearing light coloured socks and due to the hard floors not being cleaned properly, they were all filthy when we left. "It was ok breakfast ok it was a shame when we went for breakfast that a lot of the tables sill had dirty breakfast plates and cups so hard to find a table that was clean I was disappointed to find that I had booked weeks in advance and I could have saved myself a hundred pounds if had book on the day we arrived or last minute so overall it was just ok "

"Friendly front of house, which dealt with our check in quickly and professionally.. The room was adequate, clean and bright.. Breakfast here is to die for..It carers for all tastes.. The lovely chef was chatty and interesting to talk to.. The only thing that I would say is that some of the fruits for breakfast had run out and they still hadn't been replaced by our third day . Overall I would recommend a stay here ."

"Spacious room with tv and tea/coffee facilities. Plentiful supply of tea etc. Bathroom also of a good size but shower was a bit lacklustre. Ideally placed for visiting the Museum of the Royal Navy which includes HMS Victory and The Mary Rose. Also near the Gunwharf Quays area with shops, restaurants and the Spinaker Tower. "
