"Convenient, clean, comfortable.....perfect for the price"

"Good location, nice reception, rooms need a refurbishment. Towel rail not working. Room was cold . I believe the house control the heating and didn't have it switched on to cut costs. Summer stay would be ok."

"Breakfast was lousy no glasses no coffee cups toaster was useless put timer on for 6 mins and inly slightly browned on 1 side not much choice on menu eggs omelette and plain porridge needles to say we wasted our money on breakfast "

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. We like it a lot. The location is great for the city centre and also for getting to Meadowhall. It’s not far to walk to the universities so it’s great for open day visits. There’s also on-site parking for £15 per day. We particularly like having the convenience of breakfast included. Our stay was perfect."

"Parking was free we stayed on top floor view was nice but room heating was not working properly and bathroom door didn't close when we arrived atmosphere seemed pleasant but as i got to reception the receptionist i was greeted by a unwelcoming receptionist which seemed moody really felt uncomfortable checking she did not tell us properly about our stay just checked us in and told us your room is on top floor did not even say enjoy your stay or anything for that reason i will not be going back to stay at the village hotel worst stay ever "
