This hotel’s bathroom was so clean and well put together that I actually could not leave without taking a picture of it. The staff at Hotel Xauen was courteous and professional. "Generally great! The hotel was undergoing extensive renovations during our stay, but we nevertheless enjoyed it very much. There is no parking on site and there is no ramp to bring the luggage inside, which is a bit of a bummer. The restaurant of the hotel is terrific!"

"Good hotel in a lovely location up a hill through olive groves. Great terrace outside the bar with a view of the hills. Good restaurant with a decent choice of meals and wines. The only downside is that while the staff were able to supply a password for the bar wi-fi, they didn't seem to know the password for the wi-fi networks covering the accommodation buildings (and my Spanish wasn't good enough to enquire further)."

"I picked the Pension because it was close to the town center. Check in was ok—I was there at 1230 and check in wasn’t until 1430. Fair dues, the owner gave me my room right away. The premises and the room seemed tired, worn out, and a bit grubby. Light in the passageway was an issue at night. In the bathroom there was a sulphorous odor. If you kept the bathroom door closed it didn’t get into the bedroom. The shower is small, and it was a bit like having a fight with yourself in a telephone...
