Great Place

The pool is huge and the trees and gardens around the pool are beautiful. It's a very nice area to relax at. This hotel is excellent for families with children because many of the rooms are around the pool so parents can relax on the balconies while their children play in the pool steps away. We had to change rooms because they were having an ant problem with our first room but the rooms were very clean and the maids did a great job. The breakfast was included with our room. The breakfast area outside is nice because it is shaded and you can see the beach across the street. The food was OK. One area for improvement would be to have pool attendants/wait staff. There were no towels available at the pool but it was easy enough to get some from the maids. You could order a drink out by the pool but you needed to walk into the restaurant to order so most people brought their own food drink. When people bring there own food/drinks they can tend to be a bit messy. The guy who cleaned to pool each morning did a great job and the pool was very clean.

For only the 2 nights, our stay was very comfortable, there was renovations going on to some rooms and had noise from power tools during the day time, however it did not disrupt too much the stay (and were pre warned before by the hotel), and would look to book this hotel when visiting again. Very accessible to the beach which was a quiet stretch of clean beach with activities as required. And walking distances to bars and restaurants.

Oasis on the waterfront

3 night get away from Bangkok was wonderful, very restful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant chef was very good. Breakfast was a buffet which was a good, varied selection. We wished we could have stayed longer.

clean, tidy and good location. towels looked like the dog had chewed them. for the price we paid, we expected decent quality towels. Bed and pillows were hard too. Staff were good and helpful. property needs maintenance to walkways. breakfast for thais only, not for foreign people. probably wouldn't stay here again because to expensive for what you get.

Übersetzter Text For more than 15 years we have been coming to the BaanPanTai Hotel every now and then......it is still very nice here and we like the hotel. It doesn't matter that the stairs to the swimming pool have been loose for 10 years. That some of the wooden panels at the pool have been loose for many years - never mind. But we do have one criticism....the breakfast has lost quality and also the food in the restaurant used to be, in our opinion, better. Otherwise, always nice! See you next time.

We arrived here for a five night stay, we booked a villa next to the pool. Check in was ok but not what we’ve come to expect in Thailand, no welcome drink or cold towel here, or even a smile. We arrived about 45 minutes before check in time, but had to wait as our room was still being cleaned, so we waited by the pool. The pool is good, plenty of loungers and parasols. Our villa was ok, the bed is quite low, the pillows though are exceptionally hard. Good shower, bathroom amenities provided are quite basic, the bathroom did have a drain smell too. We thought we’d try out the restaurant the day we arrived, we soon realised this was a mistake, I’ve never waited so long for a club sandwich and beer, and when it eventually arrived, the sandwich was half the size served in other places, this put us off using the restaurant again. Breakfast was quite basic, others have commented that the breakfast was mainly Thai, but I don’t know anyone who eats pasta carbonara for breakfast, there is some stewed strong filter coffee, fruit, orange juice, bread for toasting, although not all the toasters are working, eggs that appear to have been fried hours ago, along with cold pancakes. The staff aren’t particularly friendly apart from the girls cleaning the rooms, who we rewarded each morning with a small gift and a tip. Just so others know the ‘no smoking ‘ isn’t enforced, having had our air space marred by the smoker in the villa next door as she obviously couldn’t read the sign.

Das Hotel überzeugt mit seiner schönen, sauberen Anlage direkt am Strand. Besonders positiv sind der große Balkon und der gründliche Zimmerservice, der regelmäßig alle Badeartikel auffüllt. Die Betten sind allerdings etwas hart und die Zimmer für zwei Personen mit viel Gepäck eher klein. Der Pool wirkt trotz täglicher Reinigung etwas schmutzig. Ein großes Manko ist jedoch das massive Ameisenproblem – sowohl in den Zimmern als auch auf der gesamten Anlage und beim Frühstück, was den ansonsten positiven Eindruck deutlich trübt.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes kleines Resort im Zentrum von Cha-am. Die Lage ist hervorragend, denn der Strand liegt unmittelbar gegenüber. Auch der Pool ist sehr groß. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist demgegenüber etwas bescheidener als von einem 4*-Hotel zu erwarten, dafür ist es nicht teuer.

Vi bodde i en av villaene som var nokså slitt. Toalettsetet var løst, håndklærne var veldig slitte og ofte flekkete. Dette gjaldt dusj- og strandhåndklær. Frokosten var ikke noe særlig, og lite utvalg. Dette var likt hver dag. Beliggenheten var bra, rett over gata til stranden, og gåavstand til diverse restauranter.

Wie immer sehr zufrieden. Diesmal wurde der Fußweg nach Überschwemmung neu gebaut, was bei der schmalen Fahrbahn es fast unmöglichmacht die Straße ohne Probleme zu passieren. Arbeiten jeden Tag und von früh bis abends, fast nur Frau. Für Neukunden, vielleicht kommen sie nicht nochmal Wir hatten eine Vila gebucht, sehr zu empfehlen. Viele Platz, unmittelbar am Pool. Ins gesamt eine sehr ruhige, kleine Anlage.
