"It was an affordable option and it has a surprisingly lovely pool at the back of the hotel. The staff are very helpful and attentive. I rate it 3 stars because of a few things that were inconvenient. The air conditioning was very loud and I traded a cool night for being able to get to sleep and stay asleep. My logic was flawed because the windows are insufficiently sound-proofed (if at all) and the sound of loud jets disturbed my sleep several times. I was given an accessible room (not sure why) and it was fine. However the room hadn’t been properly cleaned (there was some garbage on the floor) but the bed was clean and comfortable. The one small light in the bathroom was very dim and it was difficult to see clearly to do makeup. There was nowhere to plug in the hair dryer that stretched to any mirror and the TV had not been tuned to the channels indicated on the manual guide. The room itself was drab and not somewhere you’d want to spend any time but it served its purpose. I had a burger and fries in the in-house restaurant which was on a par with fast food and the bar was closed all evening - not sure why. In the morning the shuttle driver wouldn’t drop me off at the car rental center. I didn’t object because I understand that every hotel has different policies but the Courtyard shuttle has saved me time and hassle by dropping off at the car rental center rather than driving past it and dropping off at a terminal. Would I stay again? Yes but only to save money. "
