"The lady at the bar who welcomed me couldn't have been nicer. I wish I had asked her her name! Room was lovely, dog friendly. Beer & crisps for under a fiver!! Easy parking. Easy to talk to strangers!"

"Room very clean, very comfortable, really well finished. Could do with extra pillow each, but thats personal preference. Location to venue we were going to was excellent. Accessibility not great to get to room as very steep marble stairs. But step free showers "

"Property is welcoming to pets, but compared to some mecure hotels could do more for tge extra payment! A dog blanket would protect the furnishings, a couple if dog bowls in the room, would be nice! We stayed for 3 nights so the room would only be extensivley once when we leave! So paying £42. Extra seemed a bit much! We took our own! Sheffield Mecure have it sorted! Even dog wipes ect as you walk into hotel. Staff are fantastic with the dog!"

"Bed was like sleeping in bricks and the blinds only covered 3/4s of the window so let light in all night. Solid bed and light meant zero sleep. The breakfast was ok but staff serving more interested in chatting on their phone"

"Easily accessible and easy to reach.. Large reception area and welcoming and friendly staff.. Check in was fast and very easy... Room on second floor.. again easy to access by the stairs and lifts.. The room was spacious warm and very comfortable Contained everything you could possibly need for an overnight stay or longer Anything else could be obtained by the hotel staff... all you have to do is ask Our bed was so comfortable had no problems having a great night sleep Breakfast was buffet style with a variety of breakfast items available.. Hot and cold,. along with tea coffee and juice.. Help yourself to what ever you want Although it's quite a large hotel there was ample parking Fyi.. Aldi supermarket was across the way and a range of restaurants was a few minutes walk down the road.. KFC.. subway.. pizza.. etc... So it's in a great location and it's quite quiet to.. Would definitely recommend and would return "

"Arriving at hotel outside looked a bit worn. But when i entered the hotel i could see it was under a refurbishment, this did not affect my stay, as the rooms were great, large bed, tv very clean bathroom. I would definatly stay again"
