"The location is far from downtown and driving into the hotel is complicated by traffic lines. Internet requires registration as a Hilton honour member. Breakfast is poor! I would choose a different hotel next time."

"Very dated motel. Stayed here for the nostalgia, as I grew up going to HoJo's around the US. Check in was ok, but no one there to check out. Stairs to the room were rusty with peeling paint. Crumbling sidewalks. Felt unsafe. Shower curtain had that foul, sour smell--needs to be soaked in bleach or disinfectant. A real turn off. Beds seemed clean and we're comfy. Breakfast was surprisingly good--hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast bars, muffins, juices, coffee, and best of all, yogurt, and not the cheap stuff! If you upgraded the appearance, I think this would be a great improvement! Busy area in TC, but overall, quiet. One last thing--the curtains on front windows did not close completely."

"Grandkids had a great time. So it is a fun family friendly place but not a cost family friendly place. The $20 plus tax parking fee was excessive and we feel parking should be free. Lockers available to store your things in the pool area if you are willing to pay the fee. Thankful that the towels in the pool area were no additional charge. Food choices are good and the food was good just be prepared for the high prices. There are lots of other activities for kids to do but you need to be willing to pay the $60-80 per child per activity to do them. Our advice is to go there with a very specific plan and have it all detailed out with your kids so they understand plan."
