"Went on a trip for my mom’ birthday. At check-in, the front staff was amazing in accommodating last minute desired changes. We stayed at the Rainbow tower, ocean front room. It was amazing! The views were unforgettable. We enjoyed the restaurants, shopping, the pool area and the easy access to the beach. There was construction so there was some limitations to access, but not bad at all. The only reason I would give it a lower rating was due to the issues with the elevators. There were times we had to wait for an elevator for well over 15 minutes to go up or down, as well as the temperature in the halls of the tower. I would still stay again!"

"Hotel was very clean and all staff were friendly. Location was perfect. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had that was included with stay. When I was looking up rental car companies before our trip, I was surprised to find there was one on this property. Very easy as office was located in main lobby. As long as car is turned in by closing time which was 9 pm, they would park car without hotel parking fee. Definitely recommend."

"The room was gorgeous! Bravo for the elevated and tasteful decor. The exterior does need a little facelift here and there as it is an older hotel, but there is a "classic," old Hawaii charm about it. Bell Attendant was a bit pushy when we did not let him take our bags before check in - asking repeatedly - when guaranteed check in was only 30min out. Other than that, the staff at the Veranda was so nice and cheerful and dinner at Arancino was amazing. This is a great option to stay outside of Waikiki."
