"I stayed at the hotel for 6 days.Staff was very pleasant.No complaints from the restaurant. I got a partial view which was still a great view of the ocean. The only issue I had was the sliding door to get on the balcony was very hard to open and close. I had called and maintenence came to fix. I still had the same issue. I would stay here again for sure."

"The cleaning staff was absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They were so nice and always ready with anything you needed. They went above and beyond for us on our honeymoon. The room was very nice, a bit noisy on the beach side at night especially on the weekend. I had to sleep with my headphones on. The pool floor on the beach tower has a musty smell from the wet carpets. I felt awful for people who had to stay on that floor. If you get longboard club or equivalent, make sure to bring it up when you check in. We found multiple people were not given access even though they paid for it with their booking, including ourselves. So we missed out on using it our first day."

"I thought the price paid to Expedia was complete and no further payment was needed. While checking in, I was surprised that I was being charged for the hotel's Resort Fees. When I later looked through the Expedia fine print, it confirmed that Resort Fees were not covered. Other than that, the Ala Moana Hotel staff was wonderful and the room was great. We'll be back."
