"I chose 3 stars for the amenities- i was trying to convey that i was neutral about them because I didn’t use the pool, spa, or gym. I enjoyed our time here. its a lovely resort with a great beach and lots of nearby stores and restaurants."

"Pleasantly surprised. Reviews were mixed at best. It’s not new, not fancy, not updated, but its staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Their breakfast buffets are great and while their location is close to the airport, not so much to Honolulu or a beach. However, their public transit is just outside their front door, and with the HOLO pass Waikiki is 40 minutes away. It may not be what you want, but it met our needs and we would return again with their welcome mat waiting with a sincere Aloha. Mark"

"Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, great staff. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. Beach umbrellas, towels and chairs are easily available for checkout. Cons: Expedia says that on-site parking is available, but it didn't say that it was valet only (if it did then it wasn't easily available to read). Street self-parking isn't really availablehe area."
