"Didn’t realise that the hotel didn’t have a night porter , so couldn’t check in. Ideally located for business trip to local pharmacy company, but hopeless if you can’t gain access. I would have thought it may have been courteous if the hotel would have prompted me as we’ve become so reliant on assumptions that text has been read, that o ended up sleeping outside in the car overnight when the temperature was minus 3."

"Very cute hotel with very kind/nice staffs!! Breakfast was tasty. Front desk closes at 9pm, so if you arrive later than that, you need to communicate with hotel how to receive your room key. My room has eaves and felt super tight at the shower, so you may tell tem you need room with high ceiling if you are tall. "

"Hotel van der Valk in Hildesheim is a pleasant place. Really well situated, nice rooms, very service oriented, cheap secure parking and a brilliant restaurant with a 5 star breakfast. We will be back."
