"The staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were great as well. The only downside is that the room was not clean at all. The shower was very dirty and kitchen countertops were not cleaned."

"The daily breakfast offerings were always different, which provided great variety and gave you a true taste of Ghana. That was a highlight of my stay. The staff overall were wonderful, friendly, and welcoming, and I would definitely return. The pool area itself was nice and relaxing; however, there was a noticeable smell of garbage coming from a nearby field filled with trash that was visible from the area. It would greatly improve the guest experience if the hotel added some attractive décor to block that view and make the space more appealing. That said, there are a few other areas I believe could be improved. First, the restaurant charges for bottled water, even though it is complimentary in the rooms, which felt inconsistent. Also, during breakfast, if you request a juice outside of what is offered that day—especially due to allergies—you are charged extra, which seems unreasonable. Lastly, I had an issue at checkout. I paid my bill in full, but while I was at the airport about to board my flight, I received a message stating that I had been undercharged and still owed money. I was sent an invoice to pay immediately. While I did pay the amount they claimed I owed, it was frustrating and confusing that this was not identified at checkout. It also felt a bit insulting, as I take pride in paying my bills honestly and on time. Overall, it was a good experience, but better communication, improved surroundings, and more accurate billing processes would make a difference. "

"Rooms vary from insanely uncomfortable to huge! The junior staff/doormen/porters were excellent, but the male breakfast waiter? Hmmm... Grumpy. It is an "okay" hotel that has air conditioning, but the wifi is far from reliable... Oh!! US$20 for breakfast? Way too expensive. I am struggling to add a lot of positives. It's in a good location! "

"As an African American Jewish traveler of Yoruba descent returning home, I need real space to breathe. If you’re in Ghana searching for a permanent spot, one of those places that requires 3–6 months' rent upfront, that process takes time. Until then, American Mall is a great landing place, especially if you spend a lot of time inside working. Having an entire apartment makes a huge difference when you're a globe-trotter on your second passport. Privacy & Safety: Since this apartment is situated on top of businesses, privacy is key. I highly recommend requesting the top floor and ensuring you have the hallway screens outside your door. It helps you feel secure and provides the privacy you need in a busy area. Management is cool, but they need to tighten staff boundaries. No one, including the laundry team, should be walking on the roof or near guest windows. It’s weird and can make you feel watched, but the top floor/screens help with outside the apartment. The Essentials: WiFi is strong, we ran a PS5 and Apple devices with zero lag. It’s a busy business center, so it’s not "soundproof," but it is quiet at night. Safety-wise, don’t believe the hype. I’ve walked the streets late at night with my yamaka and elekes on; nobody bothered me. It’s congested, but safe. The Practicalities: There’s no printer on-site, but the staff can point you to local print shops. Also, be ready for checkout. this isn’t America. They count every spoon, fork, and cable outlet before you leave."

"We chose a basic room and it was basic, but in a clean and tidy condition. There was a period of no running water, but a water supply for bathing & other sanitory use was available throughout the period of water loss, via water storage containers. This brought me back to my childhood; a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The location was within walking distance to the Kwame Nkruma Memorial Park, the arts centre and Mukola market. Financial centre for cash/atm machines, public transport i.e. buses and taxis were also within walking distance."

"The hotel has high quality services and facilities. However the rooms are not 5 star. Finishing is cheap wood, sensors make noise and emit disturbing light, and the system outside the room feeding the AC makes frequent banging sounds "

"I wasn't able to get a shuttle from the airport. My initial booking was confirmed and I responded with the itinerary, but I didn't get a reply until 5 minutes before I arrived at the hotel. I was quite disappointed by this, seeing that I responded 3 days before my arrival. In fairness I had sent the hotel itinerary by mistake, but if someone had replied in a timely manner this would've been resolved before I had to pay my own way from the airport to the hotel. My room was clean, the staff was great and quite helpful once communication was clear, (side note) a thorough and repeated explanation of your request is required so there's no issues. I didn't use or see a gym at this hotel, it seems like there was a bit of renovation happening. The internet was in and out at times and my phone in my room worked the first couple of days after I arrived then like the internet it stopped working. I lost water during one of my showers and I informed the front desk and they informed me that it was a water pressure issue, but after that night things were back to normal."
