"The place was welcoming. We had a great stay and would definitely come back. The only things we had trouble with was trying to figure out how to work the heating system and that they had no spoons in the kitchen cabinet and no coffee maker. We also had a hard time trying to remember two codes…one for the outside door and one for our main room. Other than that we enjoyed our stay."

The staff was very polite and helpful. We can’t wait to stay there again. We loved how high tech our room was. We especially liked that our room was previously the history class. Great hotel!! "

"The staff was as amazing as the lodge and grounds. Great weekend get away to watch Louisville Football at Virginia Tech. They even shuttled us to and from the game. The Tavern Lodge Bar was excellent as was Harvest the restaurant."
