"I've stayed at this place for well over 20 years. My destination is Koblenz but I prefer to stay here where it is quiet and serene. The staff is excellent. Breakfast is always a treat. I love taking a pot of coffee and sitting on the balcony listening to the nearby Brexbach stream."

"You have to walk down to another hotel to check in. Sitting outside to wait for my partner to get the key, I did not feel this was the best of areas. There was a funky/musty smell that was quite off-putting in the entrance hall but the bedroom area was good. The nearest restaurant is a kilometre away. "Useful stopover close to the motorway, petrol & fast food. Hotel is basic but quite adequate."

"Very traditional guesthouse, immaculate and clean, shared bathrooms not en-suite although it was very quiet during my stay so this wasn’t an issue. Very friendly, no English spoken but extremely welcoming and fantastic comprehensive breakfast. Excellent value "
