Wonderful Westerwald hotel at good price

Cute small family run hotel located on a fascinating old city wall or “Eselswall”. Great staff, lovely dining room with a good breakfast included in the room price. Would happily return when in the Westerwald region.

Very good breakfast, room was a little bit dusty, and it appeared like the smells from the kitchen came straight into our bathroom. This improved later in the evening by closing the bathroom door or the kitchen stopped cooking :). Personell was very friendly and arranged synthetic bedding goods for us at the last moment!

Convenient just off the A3 autobahn

I've stayed here several times when driving from UK to Austria, it's a convenient overnight stop just off the A3 autobahn and has an excellent restaurant.

Good hotel, friendly personnel. Room needs to be updated, very basic in regards to bathroom facilities, and general comfort. For sleeping the bed was excellent.

Handy location

The bathroom was somewhat dated. We had to wait to check out as the staff were busy with breakfast. Also, the restaurant was full on the second night so we had to go elsewhere for tea. It was a handy stopover from the motorway.

Gute Möglichkeit zum übernachten

Ich hatte einen Einzelzimmer für eine Nacht gebucht. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber für meine Bedürfnisse völlig ausreichend, das Bett bequem. Auch das Bad war nicht groß, aber sauber und im guten Zustand. Das im Zimmerpreis inbegriffene Frühstück war reichhaltig, es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze hinter dem Haus. Man kann abends im Restaurant gut essen.

Die Zimmer sind etwas altbacken, aber für den Preis finde ich das völlig in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Frühstücksbuffet ist auch alles da was man braucht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis insgesamt ist einfach super. Vor allem als Durchreisehotel oder für Mottoradtouren sehr gut geeignet.

Wir waren für eine Nacht untergebracht. Zimmer und Bad sauber und die Größe ausreichend. Fenster mit Rollladen, fanden wir super. Sehr ruhig. Matratzen für uns zu weich. Was nicht so schön war, das Waschbecken, innen, hatte riesige Risse, könnte man mal austauschen. Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und schmackhaft. Im großen und Ganzen würden Wir dort nochmal einchecken.
