"What an amazing experience for a fair and reasonable price, some of the amenities were undergoing refurbishment during our stay, however the amazing staff were very accommodating for this and allowed us a discounted rate for certain things we wasn’t able to experience to the fullest. We have been to a few spas in our time, I can honestly say the temple spa treatments we received at Ufford Park were sublime Food was amazing (and I’m a very picky eater) Golf course and general vibe was so relaxed and phenomenal 100% we will be returning again in the future "

"Hotel is directly opposite where you check in, which is The George pub. No staff being readily available in the building was a little inconvenient as we had a few confusing moments with the room temperature and couldn’t change it. Also, tv remote was broken so was difficult to navigate using it, but having no main reception in the building meant you couldn’t just pop and get a replacement! But it was very clean, large wet room and not too much trouble to navigate once inside. Would stay again, as it conveniently on the high street so all shops are so close."

"Lovely hotel on the edge of campus. Lots of atmosphere, impeccably clean rooms, and very friendly staff. After a busy week in London, the beautiful surrounds, fresh air and peace of Wivenhoe House were just perfection. We had two rooms for our party of three, both in the modern part of the hotel and both excellent. We especially enjoyed the room with a balcony overlooking the grounds. The restaurant was excellent, enjoyed dinner there as well as breakfast each morning - all just great. We didn't have a vehicle during our stay but found it easy and reasonable to get an Uber into town and to and from the train station. "

"Clean room. Plenty of tea and coffee. Great breakfast at the pub and lots of other food outlets around. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Great parking. Rooms are clean / shower was a little broken Half the lockers in spa do not work. Massage was good. Dinner was good. Breakfast we were a few mins before closing they wouldn’t let us in. Beautiful grounds. "
