Alexanderplatz is a marvellous example of 1960s architecture and a centralised meeting place within Berlin thatâs particularly popular with local residents.
Torched by Hitler, bombed by Britain and stormed by the Russians, the seat of German power has risen again as a symbol of a united, progressive Germany.
The infamous, tempestuous story of the Berlin Wall is covered in this outdoor museum, which provides an insight into one of the worldâs most famous constructions.
"Excellent hotel, everyone we met was friendly & professional.
Great location, walkable to all major tourist sites & couple minutes walk from Fredrichstasse train station so very easy journey to/from airport.
We had family suite for 4 which suited us perfectly.
Lots of coffee shops & restaurants in the area, would highly recommend this hotel."
"This property is very well situated in Mitte, steps away from sights like Museuminsel, the Berlin Cathedral and the Humboldt Forum. Staff were friendly and efficient at check in. The property is very attractive and room will designed and spacious. An excellent base for exploring Berlin."
"Iâve always wanted to stay at this hotel because of its location to my family, but never have. This particular trip I absolutely needed to be next to Alexander plots for the convenience of my airplane departure, so I booked it here for three nights and it was absolutely perfect. I only needed a small room so the price was right. Staff was amazing with daily room cleaning to boot. Thank you so much for the great day. Would gladly recommend and do it again. Another one of the big draws, is that because youâre so close to the train station it makes it easy to get in and out, but the biggest plus was that you can get a Döner almost any time of the day. Perfect! A+."
"Room was clean and bed comfortable. Easy to get to from the central train station, by tram, bus or walking. Most tourist places are walkable although there are good public transport links. Plenty of good restaurants, and cafes nearby. "
