"We very much enjoyed our stay here. Private bedroom with shared living area, kitchen and bathrooms. We loved ending the evening with a soak in the geothermal hot tub with Icelandic ponies in the background. "

"Unbelievable views and tranquil location. We had a family room with bunkbeds, as well as two other beds and it was so spacious. My favourite part of the guest house was the great room, somewhere you can relax watch TV and have breakfast. The owners are incredibly hospitable and very responsive to our queries. We highly recommend this guest house for travels in northern Iceland."

"The room and facility was fine, but this small town has very little to offer. We chose Hofsos because of the Sundlaug pool and hot baths, but they were mostly closed for maintenance. "

"Property was probably dorm rooms. It wasn’t terrible. We didn’t really have occasion to interact with staff. We stayed one night on our loop around Iceland. The town doesn’t have much by way of restaurants. Keep expectations basic. "

"This is such a magical spot !! The host was communicative and helpful and the property was cozy and well equipped. Possibly the favorite point of our trip! Plenty of room to spread out. Had to deal with a handful of flies on arrival that were stuck inside or dead but there was a lil vacuum so not a big deal. "

"Very nice rooms and stylish decor. Only downside is the parking lot is very muddy and should be paved so you don’t have to pull your bags through muck. Breakfast should be included like most other hotels. "
