"As always the room was clean and the view from the patio was unbelievable. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the goldfish and listening to the stream. This is the 4 time we have stayed here and have always enjoyed it very much. To us Taos is a special place and El Monte has made it even more special. "
"The hotel, the environs and the room were great. Outsid there are fireplaces to use and hammocks to enjoy the beautiful area at night if you're interested."
"Very cool property. Very close to the concert venue at Kit Carson Park. Staff is great!! Room was clean!! Pet Friendly. Great restaurant and bar. Cool Vibes!!"
"Older property, but clean and well kept. It offered amenities not often found elsewhere such as barbecue grills, horseshoe pits, and corn hole games. The location was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Nacho chips with salsa and cookies in the afternoon, but best of all was the southwestern breakfast."
"The property manager communicated well before my stay and was very welcoming and informative upon my arrival. The room was spacious and aesthetic, with an especially large shower that included a sitting platform. The landscaped grounds were attractive and there was ample parking proximal to the room. Moreover, the location was excellent for Taos Plaza, restaurants, Kit Carson Blvd., and hiking. All but hiking was available via a quick walk and mountain hiking was a very reasonable drive. Breakfast was good, but boring. The same thing every day. I recommend more variety in the egg/quiche dish and fruit."
