Room was very old and tired. Carpet very stained and bathroom wasn’t very clean. Shower was also very old, with no water pressure at all. The mattress was very thin. Walls were very thin so I could hear everything. I was staying here for work so I couldn’t move hotels. I wouldn’t stay here again. Staff were friendly and kind though. And there is loads of parking spaces.

Room was very dusty, very small amount of toilet paper in the bathroom, windows all rusty and paint worn off. Breakfast really expensive. £9 for 2 pieces of bread and a piece of bacon, the bread so hard, it couldnt all be eaten. Drinks very expensive and not even sure it was a full pint measure as no mark on glass and not an oversized glass. Staff were friendly enough and took a photo of us in our special t shirts. Hotel overall needs a good revamp.

The property was tired and needs a overhaul. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was good. The staff were absolutely brilliant helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Food was lovely both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend it

Great stay

A great stay as always, Peter on reception is very welcoming and always friendly. The manager is polite and helpful. The area is beautiful with plenty of space, this is the first stay I would complain about noise as the cleaner was in the bar at 6.30 with the radio on

We needed a place to stay while visiting friends in Haslemere and wanted somewhere that did breakfast and was close to the A3 to return home. This place met all those needs and we got a decent nights sleep and we'd be tempted to return to check out the national forest another time.

Room was comfortable with everything we needed the staff were very helpful. The location just about a mile from the main road was excellent really peaceful with the devil's punch bowl nature reserve next door

We stayed overnight on our way to Goodwood. Wonderful staff, excellent food and a nice but un-renovated room. This hotel is a work in progress and deserves to do well. Although a bit rundown at present everything worked, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would recommend without hesitation and congratulate the staff for an amazing job.

a great stay as always, an amazing place to stay to walk the bowl. such a pretty area. the hotel is good, possible issue with creaky floors. shower was always hot, staff are friendly and helpful. i will stay again as it stay here often

We got a super cute room on the top floor and really enjoyed our one night stay here. It was quiet, cosy and warm and had everything we needed. Pub downstairs was nice and had great food too! Staff was on-hand when we had a small issue in the room and super friendly and nice. Will definitely come back again!
