The hotel is going through a transitional period. Old vs New, I'd say. Some parts of the hotel are tired and would benefit from a deep clean while in the central areas the hotel has modernised and freshened up. The beds, linen all main facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and service good.

The hotel was ideal for us as only 30 minutes or so to Goodwood. Good value accommodation. Very helpful staff and the Restaurant food was first rate. Also worth a mention was the Bar where the staff and clientele were so welcoming it reminded us of the bar in 'Cheers'!

This place was aweful in every department with the exception of the bed which was comfy and Rob the server who was an awesome human being polite helpful service with a smile and very respectful This place should be torn down simple put The carpet was so stained I thought I had brought dirt inside on my shoes the lamps appeared to have never been cleaned bathroom is so dated it’s it is unbelievable entire place and so so called amenities total garbage I stayed in room 314 the design is so terrible I hit my head several times whilst getting out of bed

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was large, cool, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a bath, but no plug! They were working on the WiFi so we were not able to connect to it in our room. The TV signal was erratic. We booked a buffet breakfast but all that was actually available were variations on a cooked breakfast, or Toast & Jam. But the cooked breakfast was good and the food we had for our evening meals was superb. The hotel is located right next to the Devil’s Punchbowl and we enjoyed walking around this area in the evening. No problems with traffic noise.

The Hotel is very dated, but acceptable due to the price. The area rates are quite expensive. It's very handy for me because i visit family close by. The Hotel has a well stocked bar and dining area with a good menu selection. This is the 2nd time i have stopped here and i would stop again. It has ample parking and is next door to the beautiful Devils Punch Bowl ideal for walkers.

The whole place was pretty tired and in need of a good redecoration. The room we had 204 was dated but the bed was clean. The bathroom had broken tiles on the floor and the shower area had mouldy patches. We did NOT use the shower. The bar area was ok snd the bar staff were friendly. The corridor leading to our room smelt of vomit, it was quite unpleasant. We decided not to eat breakfast there the next morning. The price was good and I didn’t expect it to be 5* but to be honest, I probably wouldn’t go back. Shame, good location and lots of potential.
