Sea Pines in Hilton Head Island is a lovely destination. In reality, the property looks exactly like the online pictures. However, there was a musty odor throughout the unit. I just assumed it was due to the unit being “older”. However, now that I am back in my own home, I noticed all my clothes reek of that musty mold smell. I've noticed several bites on parts of my body and I am concerned that there were bed bugs. I do not see how Hilton Head Retreat / vTrips can rent out this property in that condition. I find it difficult to believe that they did not receive complaints from prior renters.
Stayed 3 nights in Jun 2024
