"Our stay at the Novotel Hotel in Ghent, the Netherlands, 15-17 Oct 2025 was excellent. With the exception of a couple of people, overall, the hotel's staff was friendly and hospitable. "Fine for an overnight stay next to the highway, but disappointing for a Van der Valk hotel. Some good points: easy location, ample free parking, and large rooms with balconies. However this hotel clearly isn’t run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes and marks everywhere, and it’s not acceptable to let black mould grow in the shower. "

"Our stay at the Novotel Hotel in Ghent, the Netherlands, 15-17 Oct 2025 was excellent. With the exception of a couple of people, overall, the hotel's staff was friendly and hospitable.
