"I stayed in room 2 at the Phyllis Court Club the night before the start of Henley Royal Regatta. Room 2 overlooks the finish line of the regatta course. Luckily, it had cooled down from earlier in the week, as the rooms themselves are not air conditioned. I had a great full English breakfast in the Orangerie (a greenhouse dining room overlooking the river) the next morning. The bath is very well fitted, and the mattress is quite comfortable. The Phyllis Court Club is within walking distance of the town - there is a shortcut to town the back gate, but that is not staffed in the evening. Over a great experience."

"Had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were lovely, extremely clean and beautiful grounds. Had a wonderful chat with one of the groundsmen. Marlow is just a short drive away. The reason I haven’t given an “excellent” was because the massage wasn’t as relaxing as I would expect. No calming spa music and very hot in the treatment room. You can also only use the spa until 11am in the day of check out, and whilst I understand they don’t want people there all day we didn’t need to leave until 12. I would stay again if in the areas"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. From the moment of checking in to checking out the whole experience was very good. After being shown our room we decided to stroll the grounds and have a drink from the bar then sit outside in the sunshine. All the staff we interacted with were very happy and always smiling. The breakfast the following day was very tasty and well presented. The only downside was during this heatwave we had to have two plugged in fans operating as there were no air conditioning but it didn't spoil our experience."

"Natalie was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, providing excellent recommendations and local information. Our room was spotless, and the entire estate was beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt very secure throughout our stay. The on-site parking, located behind secure electric gates, was particularly reassuring. Despite the area's narrow roads, access was straightforward, and the safety mirrors installed at the exit provided excellent visibility for approaching traffic. Breakfast was wonderful and very well organised. We especially appreciated being able to pre-select our menu items, which made the experience smooth, efficient, and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and well-managed place to stay."
